Books I've read
"34 Bubblegums and Candies" by Preeti Shenoy
One of the Best real life Short Stories....:) i love this book.
34 Bubblegums and Candies is a non-fictional book by Preeti Shenoy. It contains 34 short stories, and the narratives of these stories are based on common incidents adapted from the author’s blog posts. The stories are both poignant and humorous, much like the essence of everyday life.
The author likens life to chewing bubblegums and candies, and this sets the tone for the message that this book conveys. Sometimes life is a nonstop struggle, like chewing a piece of bubblegum endlessly. At other times, it blows up like a bubble in one’s face. When people are greedy and bite off more than they can chew, the entire effort backfires, so that they are stuck with the painful results, like a hard-boiled sugar candy stuck in one’s throat.
With candies and in life, on rare occasions people learn to strike a balance in order to be content.Shenoy talks about how to tackle life, as it does not come with a handy instruction manual.
Every story in the book is either a ‘bubblegum’ or a ‘candy’. The first category makes readers think, much like chewing a bubblegum. The second category leaves readers with a good feeling, much like candy. The writing in this book is simple, lucid, and suitable for all age groups.

"I Too Had A Love Story" by Ravinder Singh
"Its his true story"
The book kicks off with the story of Ravin and Khushi, and their unconventional love story that fails to fall prey to general stereotypes. They are two complete strangers with different dreams and goals who meet each other online, in a matrimonial website. What follows next is a journey that reaffirms Ravin's faith in the magic of love, one that takes them through several emotional highs and lows.
Do Ravin and Khushi confess their feelings and get together?
Will their love, which blossoms through their online conversations, stand the test of time?
Ravinder Singh's novel is heartwarming mainly because the conversations and characters in the book are rooted in reality, so that every single reader can relate to the story.
